Very expensive and very slow service poor customer service too keep away!!!!!
Overpriced, one size fits none (small) portions (no option for large chips!), poor staff, quality very variable - especially with the chips you have to catch them with a freshly cooked batch. Worst Chippy in Chippy, now the only one.
Really odd vibe. Staffed by an array of young kids, there must've been 8 of them in there, assembly line style, some of them clearly haven't got a clue what they are doing. One poor kid burned his hand on the food counter - I get the impression this is a regular occurrence, pretty sure the staff turnover must be high. It's run by a surly looking manager. Looks like he's a terrible task master, not the least bit friendly. About the only thing good I can say about the food, is that it didn't make me ill. It's right on the border line though - too oily, low quality. I probably won't bother going back, as the whole experience was ... very very unfriendly each time I've been. (three times)
It's ok portions sizes have improved a bit. Not as small as they was. food's tasty not to greasy.
The fish and chips tasted good. Just the right amount of salt and vinegar. But have to say the portion size was a bit small. Will go back and see if it was a one off
