I write as an ex pupil many years ago.Without my time at Kingham,I would not have had the life that I subsequently had.Thank you KHS so very very much.(It's still a super school with superb leadership and stunning facilities in an amazing location).
Incredible doesn't even begin to describe it
The mark of any school starts with its leadership. The headmaster, Revd Nick Seward, leads the school with a firm Christian ethic and a clear vision for the future. When students have a sense of security, safety and friendship, they are in a position to thrive. Kingham Hill School provides that foundation. The potential and individual strengths of each student are immediately identified and built upon accordingly, encouraging each toward success. Its fair to say that when students become aware of their own abilities and gain that confidence, they will work harder. GCSE and A level results speak for themselves. Exceptional staff and inspired teaching; pastoral care is second to none. Excellent amenities. Social media is actively discouraged and it seems a kinder place for that. A good balance of sport and academics and a large and varied choice of extracurricular activities are provided.Kingham Hill is certainly the best school in the area.
An amazing school with fantastic teachers / staff
This school barely scrapes these three stars. Consistently bringing the students down by overbearing regulations and rules that only leave the students feeling gloomy. However, the school has so much potential if only the staff put the students first. The Christian ethos also blocks away from exploring the real world due to the school's personalized bubble. I had an amazing few years here, however from those still there it seems as though the school is starting losing its special touch on the hill.
